Adopting Zero Trust Architecture
With the widespread adoption of cloud services such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Salesforce, the traditional on-premises security model is no longer sufficient. Unlike in the past, sign-on screens-the entry points to these services are now constantly exposed to the internet. Additionally, as remote work becomes more common, users are accessing cloud services from outside corporate networks more frequently.
Given the rise in cyberattacks such as unauthorized access, network security must adopt the Zero Trust principle of "never trusting any access, whether internal or external."

To achieve secure sign-on, access to cloud services can be restricted based on who (user), what (device), when (time), where (location), and how (authentication method) a user signs in.

Users can choose from three categories: password authentication, multi-factor authentication such as a combination of a password and a One-Time Password, and passwordless authentication, including options like Pocket CloudGate and passkeys.
